Job Title: Compliance and Governance Manager

Join Blue Octopus in this exciting opportunity to build your career in governance and compliance. As a senior role, you will report directly to the Finance Director and provide advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group's Boards and Committees.

About the Role

This role would suit someone driven by working in an organisation with a clear purpose, which is to build high-quality, affordable homes that support sustainable rural communities. You will lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group's Boards and Committees
  • Lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management
  • Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage and mitigate risks
Requirements
  • Understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements
  • Working knowledge of data protection legislation and good practice
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels
