Finegreen is currently assisting a prominent NHS organization in the recruitment of a senior clinical governance expert who will operate within the Directorate and oversee risk management across the entire trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, advocate, and facilitate effective risk management and assurance throughout all sectors of the organization.
  • Provide a blend of subject matter expertise, particularly in risk and incident management, while assessing and monitoring assurance, and possess management skills to cultivate and sustain high performance.
  • Collaborate with governance leaders across the organization to ensure the Trust's adherence to national policies and standards.
  • Accountable for the formulation, execution, and oversight of the Trust's Risk Management Policy, along with trust policies and procedures to guarantee effective and efficient incident investigation and learning from adverse events, ensuring compliance with national and regional mandates and the corporate agenda.

Qualifications:

  • A seasoned professional (Registered Nurse/Midwife or Health professional / or specialized qualification in Health and Safety and Risk Management), with education at the Master's level (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated history of service management at a senior level, ideally with experience in healthcare acute hospital settings.
