Position Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As part of the Engineering Enhancement Group within Finance, Risk, Audit & Legal, your role will focus on the engineering of infrastructure technologies.

  • You will explore and implement infrastructure solutions that enhance reliability and expedite service delivery for our clients.
  • Collaboration with peers across the Technology division will be essential, providing opportunities to broaden your professional network and showcase your contributions.
Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering technical infrastructures for various departmental applications and services. Your efforts will support the broader organization by facilitating the adoption of innovative practices in our engineering processes.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing requirements and guiding the transformation of our products and operational practices to align with user needs.
  • Grasping our overarching strategic objectives and formulating solutions and roadmaps to advance our vision.
  • Delivering solutions and methodologies to teams within the department to enhance the engineering workflow.
  • Promoting and assisting colleagues in the department with the integration of new operational practices.
  • Reviewing deployment documentation for all departmental infrastructure components related to application and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of how your area of expertise serves our clients, encompassing the applications and services developed, as well as the decisions made with a focus on achieving high availability and cost-effective systems.

Additionally, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency with technologies such as Gitlab, Python, Terraform, and AWS.
  • A solid understanding of infrastructure layers or stacks, with a broad knowledge across various platforms, including mainframe, middleware, and networking, or a deeper specialization in one area.
  • Awareness of the strategic roadmap relevant to your expertise.
  • The capability to collaborate with design authorities to implement cost-effective and resilient solutions.
  • Experience in contributing to strategic roadmaps and collaborating with external partners to ensure quality output and performance management.
