About the Role

As a Platform Engineer at BJSS, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the delivery infrastructure that underpins our technology transformation engagements. You'll lead the adoption of modern platforms and ways of working, ensuring our clients receive the best possible solutions.

We're seeking experienced AWS experts to join our delivery teams, working on exciting digital programs across various industries. As an AWS specialist, you'll collaborate with developers, architects, designers, analysts, and product owners to deliver automation, tooling, and cloud infrastructure.

We encourage continuous learning and professional growth, offering opportunities to evaluate the latest technologies and obtain AWS certifications. Our team is committed to staying ahead of the curve, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join us.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Significant commercial experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise cloud environments.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • In-depth configuration management, automation, and scripting using tools such as Python, Ruby, and Go.
  • Detailed knowledge of platform and application automated deployment technologies like Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, etc.
  • Exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies and experience of enabling team delivery through technology.
