Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café and Chef Operations Manager to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Catering Team: Manage and motivate a team of catering professionals to ensure seamless delivery of food and hospitality services.
  • Food Production and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality food, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial budget for the location, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and concerns.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and execute internal and external hospitality events, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality service.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality and presentation.
  • Team Development: Identify and develop team members' skills and abilities, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional food and customer service.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification and have a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software and internet browsers, with the ability to use technology to enhance service delivery.
