About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Modern Art Oxford. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our café, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that reflect the artistic vision of our gallery, while ensuring that they are accessible to our diverse visitor base.
  • Supervise and manage a team of café staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with our Commercial Manager to maximize profits and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with our events team to develop and deliver catering services for exhibitions and events.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage operations are run in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of food and beverage operations.
