Job Title: Engineering Quality Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Quality Inspector to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions. As an Engineering Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products are produced and delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support production teams by conducting thorough inspections of parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to ensure products are produced to the highest possible quality.
  • Operate and maintain Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct internal calibration of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Assist production teams with queries and issues related to quality and documentation.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience in turning, milling, or mechanical inspection.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings, symbols, and documentation.
  • Experience with operating Mitutoyo and Aberlink CMM Machines.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Self-motivation, versatility, and ability to work independently in a team environment.
