Quality Assurance Inspector

Location: Swindon
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Quality Inspector to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of parts and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to ensure products are produced to the highest quality.
- Operate and maintain Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for accurate measurements.
- Support Quality Assurance by completing internal calibration of measuring equipment.
- Carry out routine quality and 5S audit checks of production batches.
- Assist production teams with queries, standards, or other issues and liaise with Quality Assurance.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, experience with turning, milling, or other mechanical or inspection experience. Knowledge of engineering drawings, symbols, revisions, and documentation is essential. Experience with Mitutoyo and Aberlink CMM Machines is desirable. The successful candidate will be computer literate, self-motivated, versatile, and able to work without supervision in a team environment.
