MARS Recruitment is partnering with a pioneering specialist manufacturer to support their recruitment of a Technical Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to join a sales team operating globally, selling capital equipment and subcontract services to other manufacturers and academia.
The Role:
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales and promotion of our clients' systems and subcontract, predominantly in the UK, Europe, and Rest of world (excluding the US). There may be some national and international travel required, although this will only be two or three times per quarter. You will be expected to meet sales and margin targets through effective sales management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Progress and generate leads for technical products and services
- Manage international sales territory and develop repeat customers and Key Accounts
- Sell capital equipment and subcontract services to Industry and Academia
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Degree qualified, preferably in a science or engineering discipline
- Sales experience of technical products and services to industry
- Experience in progressing and generating leads
- Experience of international sales territory management
- Experience of selling capital equipment and subcontract services to Industry and Academia
