We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ward Manager to lead our surgical wards in a private hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre and post-operative surgical patients across various specialties, providing exceptional clinical and managerial leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the efficient and safe running of inpatient and day care wards.
- Lead the ward team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Manage patient feedback and complaints in accordance with policy.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to manage departmental resources effectively.
- Conduct audits and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Develop services in partnership with the Business Development Team.
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
- Experience in an acute environment, preferably in a busy surgical ward.
- Proven leadership and clinical management skills.
- Familiarity with private hospital operations is preferred.
