Sanctuary Personnel invites applications for a permanent Ward Manager position on our client's specialist Surgical Wards. This is a full-time role with a salary range between £55,000 and £60,000 per annum.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead the service to deliver against Spire key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient and safe running of the department. The successful candidate will line manage and lead the in-patient services team, including recruitment, induction, and performance review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the in-patient services team, including recruitment, induction, and performance review.
- Ensure the efficient and safe running of the department, meeting Spire key performance indicators.
- Resolve and manage complaints and patient feedback in line with Spire Policy.
- Manage stocks and ensure compliance with financial instructions, efficient utilisation, and intelligent ordering.
- Ensure all audits and reviews of the department and its performance are undertaken, and implement action plans in response to findings.
- Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a current NMC Registration, experience of working in an acute environment, and a proven track record in Clinical Management. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working in a similar private hospital setting and at Ward Manager level.
