Key Responsibilities:
As an Arboricultural Compliance Officer, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance team, providing specialized arboricultural services to support our highway maintenance operations.
- Conducting thorough inspections of highway trees, focusing on safety and service assessments.
- Offering expert arboricultural guidance to the highway maintenance team.
- Addressing inquiries from the public, clients, and internal departments.
- Utilizing our tree management system to initiate maintenance tasks for both reactive and planned activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
This role is ideal for candidates who possess:
- A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Arboriculture or a related field, along with Lantra Professional Tree Inspection certification.
- Experience in conducting tree surveys and familiarity with tree management software and mapping tools.
- Awareness of current industry challenges, including pest and disease threats, and a solid understanding of vegetation-related subsidence issues.
