**Job Summary**

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to take on a key role in our commercial team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, budgeting, risk management, contract administration, and advising on procurement strategies. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets, taking into account all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure budget compliance, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
  • Develop and manage tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Administer contracts, including managing variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring that all parties are aware of their obligations and responsibilities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, working closely with our project managers and clients to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Track, report, and provide financial progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Prepare valuations, process progress payments, and certify completed work, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Professional certification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is preferred.
