About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our commercial broking team, you will be responsible for managing new business enquiries and client renewals, including the re-marketing of policies and issuing renewal documentation within time scales set out by regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new business enquiries and client renewals, including the re-marketing of policies and issuing renewal documentation within time scales set out by regulatory bodies.
  • Handle incoming client queries, advising on policy coverage and/or changes to their cover.
  • Develop relationships with key insurer markets.
  • Work alongside the field sales team to provide a broking service and assist in the preparation of client reports.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients by identifying potential gaps in cover or policies held elsewhere.
  • Contribute towards the team's revenue goals, both for renewal retention and new business.
Requirements
  • Commercial account handling experience within an insurance environment.
  • Commercial insurance multi-class product knowledge.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service and sales-focused.
  • Acturis experience is not essential but would be beneficial.
