Job Title: A&E General Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&E General Nurse to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing various procedures, including GA and LA.
  • Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Take charge of the department in the absence of senior nursing staff, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • NMC registration and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Assessing and mentoring qualification, with experience in acute trusts and recovery or scrub environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
