About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate A&E General Nurse to join our team in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to patients undergoing various procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide evidence-based care to patients in clinics, theatres, and recovery areas.
  2. Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  3. Take charge of the department in the absence of senior nursing staff, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.

Requirements
  • NMC registration
  • Evidence of professional portfolio and recent study
  • Assessing and Mentoring qualification
Experience
  • Previous experience in an acute Trust
  • Previous experience in recovery or scrub
