Job Title: Senior Program Manager

At the William Blake Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead our complex programs and ensure successful delivery to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Direct large-scale programs with multiple internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business sponsors and technology teams to define program strategy and approach.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all program deliveries meet high standards, with thorough review and sign-off by stakeholders.
  • Communication: Effectively represent program details, changes, and impact to stakeholders and senior sponsors.
  • Governance: Implement and enforce program governance, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Facilitate discussions to resolve issues, enforce accountability, and drive decision-making.
  • Operational Checkpoints: Facilitate operational checkpoint activities throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate high-priority program risks, ensuring prompt corrective action.
  • Escalation: Escalate risks and issues to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Program Planning: Develop program charter, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related artifacts.
  • Financial Management: Validate financial forecasts and reconcile resources and expenditures.
  • Methodology and Standards: Manage programs according to established methodology and standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Update stakeholders on program status and publish status reports.
  • Representation: Represent the program in governance and inter-department forums.
  • Milestone Management: Define and track project milestones, developing and maintaining an integrated delivery plan.
  • Partnerships: Lead collaborative partnerships with related business units.
  • Relationship Building: Build excellent working relationships with teams.
  • Presentation: Produce clear, concise, and accurate presentation materials.
Requirements
  • Asset Management Experience: 10+ years of experience successfully delivering programs in the front office.
  • Project Delivery Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in Asset Management project or program delivery, including cross-functional change projects.
  • Fixed Income Knowledge: Good working knowledge of fixed income instruments and processes, including portfolio management.
  • Investor Experience: Proven experience working directly with investors in the asset management industry.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with people across multiple locations.
  • Facilitation: Experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to make decisions, review, and present findings.
  • Complexity Simplification: Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts.
  • Workshop Preparation: Ability to prepare and run detailed workshops.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work with people across multiple time zones and cultural backgrounds.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity driving thorough examination of issues and analysis to a high standard.
