Lead Civil Engineer

Position Overview:
As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will report directly to the Area Lead Engineer and the Engineering Manager, contributing to our projects on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide engineering assistance to construction and commissioning activities in alignment with project timelines.
2. Foster and maintain robust relationships with the design team, on-site construction personnel, and the client's oversight team to facilitate proactive engagement in addressing technical challenges as they emerge.
3. Address technical inquiries, product approvals, deviations, and compliance issues promptly as they arise from construction operations.
4. Engage daily with construction teams on-site, offering direct support as needed to ensure adherence to engineering design specifications and drawings.
5. Generate and verify structural calculations (including steel, concrete, and masonry), technical documentation, and details necessary for site adjustments, with the endorsement of the design team.
6. Evaluate contractor method statements, inspection protocols, and related documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nuclear industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Technical Proficiencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, STAAD-Pro, Tedds, and Navisworks.
