We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our team at Little Havens Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Manage Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Support Families and Carers: Provide emotional support and guidance to families and carers, empowering them to take an active role in their loved one's care.
- Maintain Confidentiality and Professional Boundaries: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism, respecting patients' and families' privacy and dignity.
- Qualifications and Experience: Hold a current registration with the NMC and possess a first-level degree or diploma in nursing. Have experience working with children and a strong understanding of children's nursing principles and practices.
- Skills and Competencies: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Possess a good standard of IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
