Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Little Havens Inpatient unit, providing high-quality care to our young patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patient needs, delivering individualized care that meets their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and comforting environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the NMC and a valid nursing qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a pediatric or hospice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
