Job Summary
  • Provide in-class support, intervention sessions, and revision classes to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Drive up attainment, engagement, and enjoyment by breaking down complex language and literature-based lesson content into simpler concepts
  • Help students make lesson content relevant to their interests and applicable to real-life contexts
  • Get involved in extra-curricular English opportunities
Key Responsibilities

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to provide support to students in a variety of settings. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Leading small group sessions to reinforce key concepts
  • Contributing to the development of engaging and interactive lesson plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in English or a related subject
