Teaching Assistant Opportunity for Psychology Graduates

We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious specialist Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in Primary schools across Croydon. This role is ideal for individuals looking to pursue a career in Education Psychology or a PGCE in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work with groups of children with varying learning ability and who may have special educational needs
  • Build rapport with children, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and act as a mentor
Requirements:
  • Psychology (BA Hons) degree
  • DBS (clean and relevant) Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching
  • Safeguarding certificate
  • Committed and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to form new relationships
