About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our dynamic team at Everflow. As a key player in our Collections and Recovery department, you will be responsible for contacting legal partners and business customers on a daily basis to manage the collections process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with third-party debt partners to ensure effective communication and resolution of outstanding debt
- Proactively chase and collect outstanding debt on assigned ledgers, implementing payment plans where necessary
- Chase and collect cash from business customers, resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with the wider finance and commercial teams to resolve queries and issues on overdue debt
- Weekly reporting on account and ledger status, escalating problematic accounts to the Collections and Recovery Manager as required
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
Requirements
- Experience within a Collections/Credit Control role in a high-volume environment
- Confident and comfortable speaking and asking questions on the telephone to gain a full understanding of customers' circumstances
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Engage positively with team meetings, huddles, and wider business forums, supporting team members with workload during times of absence or high activity
- Responsive to changing processes and environment, with excellent analytical and numeracy skills
- Ability to cope well under pressure, with a self-motivated and team-player attitude
- Some experience in a legal capacity is desirable but not essential
