As a Procurement Specialist at Aston Carter, you will be responsible for implementing and reviewing P2P processes, aligning local procurement compliance procedures with corporate guidelines, and stabilizing and cleaning the supply base in line with Peterlee strategy.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Support the execution of category strategy for Tailored Categories.
• Develop and manage suppliers' performance, supporting the OPACC improvement agenda.
• Gain a deep understanding of the supply base in Europe and become a trusted advisor to internal customers.
• Manage policies, agreements, source catalogues, and special purchasing programs.
• Provide leadership for sourcing, logistics, and resource management decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and liaise with corresponding Category Buyers from other regions.
• Perform daily tasks such as invoice grief, supplier shortages, and expediting materials.
• Manage POs in line with company compliance regulations.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with company regulations.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role, requiring two days in each of two locations and one day from home. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
