**Job Summary**

Nationwide is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Regulatory Risk Manager to join our Financial Risk Oversight team. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist regulatory advice and support to ensure compliance with prudential regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide specialist core prudential regulatory advice on interest rate risk in the banking book, market risk, liquidity risk, capital risk, and model risk management.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory change within your portfolio, ensuring clarity of ownership of prudential regulations.
  • Maintain the list of applicable prudential regulations and work with 1st line teams to evolve the management information for compliance with the prudential landscape.
  • Build and develop relationships at a senior level, representing prudential risk at internal meetings.
  • Support the wider team with prudential compliance knowledge and work with 1st line teams to ensure implementation and compliance with prudential requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Proven prudential regulatory experience.
  • Experience of providing specialist core prudential regulatory advice.
  • Detailed knowledge/experience of the relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex and sometimes conflicting regulation.
