Role Overview

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations. You will be responsible for managing stock, driving sales, leading and motivating a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Management & Sales Performance:
    • Effectively manage daily replenishment processes within established deadlines.
    • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen by analyzing sales trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
    • Maintain clear communication with management regarding stock levels and sales performance.
  • Product Expertise & Availability:
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest product information and trends within the fashion industry.
    • Ensure optimal product availability by managing inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Delivery & Stock Organization:
    • Oversee the smooth delivery process, ensuring timely receipt of merchandise.
    • Allocate new lines effectively throughout the store floor to maximize visibility and sales potential.
  • Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation:
    • Develop and implement creative merchandising strategies to enhance the visual appeal of the store.
    • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring a consistent and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing personalized assistance and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
    • Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty.
  • Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including security protocols and stock take processes.
    • Promote a safe and organized work environment by maintaining good housekeeping standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages growth and development.
    • Prepare monthly rotas and daily planners to ensure optimal staffing levels.
    • Actively contribute to the management team by sharing ideas and insights.
