The Role

The school is in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about Science, dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for students.

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Contribute to the strategic development of your subject area.
  • Lead training initiatives and enhance Science teaching methodologies across the institution.
  • Deliver engaging and ambitious lessons that foster professional growth among colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding teaching that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Supporting the school in elevating teaching and learning standards within the department.
  • Monitoring progress towards established educational goals.
  • Offering specialized subject knowledge to assist departmental staff as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to school-wide policies and initiatives.
  • Planning and facilitating professional development workshops upon request.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills.
  • Experience in conducting lesson observations and providing constructive feedback.
  • A background in improvement planning and implementing strategies to enhance student performance.
  • A proven record of achieving excellent educational outcomes.
  • Experience with effective pupil tracking and feedback systems.
