Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team at HB People. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales and purchase ledger invoices on Sage 50 and EDI systems
  • Manage customer receipts and credit control via customer portals
  • Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payments due/ remittances to suppliers
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
  • Assist in other areas as required to ensure seamless business operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales and/or purchase ledger essential
  • Basic Excel skills essential
  • Some accounts system experience required (Sage 50 and EDI desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
