Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team at HB People. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales and purchase ledger invoices on Sage 50 and EDI systems
- Manage customer receipts and credit control via customer portals
- Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payments due/ remittances to suppliers
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
- Assist in other areas as required to ensure seamless business operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales and/or purchase ledger essential
- Basic Excel skills essential
- Some accounts system experience required (Sage 50 and EDI desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
