Overview:
We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Systems Test Engineer to become a vital part of our organization, concentrating on the assessment and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems within rotating machinery and power generation sectors, particularly in marine applications. Reporting directly to the Systems Engineering Manager, your role will be crucial in ensuring the secure and prompt delivery of superior solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and upkeep of electro-mechanical systems.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes.
- Work in conjunction with design teams to achieve safety, quality, and project objectives.
- Oversee subcontractors and guarantee adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Low Voltage Electrical Competence and certifications in EHS/First Aid.
- Demonstrated experience in testing electro-mechanical systems.
- Must possess sole British citizenship and capability to obtain SC clearance.
Desirable Attributes:
- Leadership abilities and experience in project management.
- Familiarity with active magnetic bearings.
