About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Programme Lead to join our team at Diabetes UK. As a key member of our Strategy and Planning team, you will be responsible for embedding and managing our impact measurement and reporting activities.

This is a critical role that will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to champion impact measurement and contribute to continuous improvement in how we deliver our strategy to achieve outcomes for people living with and at risk of diabetes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a key organisational change programme to embed our impact measurement framework and support the delivery of our strategy.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our charity's strategic ambition and the opportunities to measure and evaluate the delivery of our work.
  • Use this information to demonstrate our impact internally and externally, showing the difference our work is making to the lives of people with or at risk of diabetes.
  • Work strategically and operationally to embed and introduce tools and methods for collecting, managing, analysing and reporting impact data.
  • Create written and verbal impact-focused reports demonstrating the impact of our strategic delivery both for senior leaders and for colleagues.
Requirements
  • Highly IT literate and experienced at using reporting and evaluation tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
