At Retain Healthcare, we're committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our customers. As a Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in enabling individuals and families to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses, and other agency professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate changes in customer requirements and contribute to a collaborative care approach.
  • Work within company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care standards.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Assist customers with personal needs, such as dressing, washing, meal preparation, and accessing their community, as outlined in the Care Plan.
  • Perform light housework, such as dusting, sweeping/vacuuming, and polishing furniture, as needed.
  • Encourage customers to take ownership of their personal care and tasks, recognizing their abilities may change daily.
Requirements:
  • A kind, approachable, caring, and passionate individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • A desire to provide quality care and support to customers.
  • Availability to work between 7am-2pm or 4pm-10pm.
