As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with social workers, district nurses, and other agency professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate changes in requirements to the care team and ensure that care plans are up-to-date.
  • Work within company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge.
  • Assist customers with their personal needs, such as dressing, washing, and meal preparation, as detailed in their care plan.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, and polishing, as required.
  • Encourage customers to undertake personal care and tasks that they are capable of, recognizing that their abilities may change on a day-to-day basis.
