Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Huws Gray Group. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Branch Manager in driving sales growth and developing the team to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact in the absence of the Branch Manager and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities from new, lapsed, and existing customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Support the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a builders' merchant or similar industry.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of the building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
