We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Huws Gray Group. As a key member of our external sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our wide range of products across our businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers, key stakeholders, and suppliers to maximize customer opportunities, grow and maintain relationships, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Be responsible for all customer activity within a defined area, while managing a portfolio of accounts across an agreed area.
  • Find and develop new profitable business into the area's branch network and the wider business.
  • Gain an understanding of everything that is happening within the area, both in terms of large-scale construction projects and local market conditions.
  • Add value to our customers' businesses through activities such as project plans, supplier contacts, and offering advice through your industry-specific knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Positive and confident attitude, with a strong work ethic.
  • Hunger for the sector, with a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build key relationships.
  • Previous sales experience, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Resilience, with the ability to manage your own activities effectively.
