We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the growth and success of Slalom's Commercial Strategy practice. This newly established role holds significant importance within our company, which is deeply committed to its purpose and values through its dedicated team of over 13,000 employees. As a thought leader, you will guide clients and colleagues, setting strategic direction for Slalom under the guidance of our Head of Commercial Strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Slalom's supplier management processes, encompassing sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management.
  • Design and implement tailored commercial solutions that address client needs through innovative approaches such as rate cards, discounts, growth-based incentives, and shared savings models.
  • Play a pivotal role in expanding this dynamic area of our business and shape how we deliver value to clients.
  • Lead impactful commercial negotiations that transform client businesses and witness the positive outcomes of your work on both clients and Slalom.
  • Cultivate trusting and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments.
  • Partner closely with Global Client Partners, Client Partners, other Commercial Strategy Leaders, and cross-functional teams to architect and design collaborative solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Provide insightful analytics to enhance commercial performance across key areas such as compliance, security, finance, legal/contractual matters, human resources, and more.
  • Contribute to a fun, collaborative team environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to excel in their roles.
  • Engage in internal Slalom events or initiatives that foster growth and innovation within the company.

What You Will Bring

  • A passion for being part of a dynamic and impactful team with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Proven experience in Professional Services Category Management, Contract Negotiation and Management, Data Analysis, Negotiation, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Relationship Management.
  • Strong client-facing skills and a successful track record of managing client engagements effectively.
  • Experience structuring Fixed Price, Time & Materials (T&M), and alternative pricing methodologies to meet diverse client needs.
  • Deep commercial business expertise, encompassing economics and migration knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
