Key Responsibilities

The Cleaning Operative will collaborate with a team dedicated to ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining health and safety standards for passengers.

  • Adhere to cleaning protocols and safety measures to ensure personal and passenger safety.
  • Execute station and vehicle cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Share knowledge with the Cleaning Operative team by contributing valuable information on the Teams Forum to promote best practices.
  • Identify and report potential hazards to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a cleaning position.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning materials in compliance with regulations.

Welsh Language Proficiency

While proficiency in Welsh is advantageous, it is not a requirement for this position. Transport for Wales actively supports the use of the Welsh Language among employees and encourages the development of Welsh language skills through various learning opportunities, including online courses, classroom training, and funding for local community classes.
