Key Responsibilities

The Cleaning Operative will collaborate with a team dedicated to ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining health and safety standards for passengers.

  • Adhere to cleaning protocols by following established procedures, complying with safety guidelines, and working alongside other station personnel to ensure personal and passenger safety.
  • Provide cleaning support for stations and vehicles by following the operational guidelines outlined in the Station Briefing Pack to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Share knowledge with the Cleaning Operative team by contributing valuable information and insights on the group's Teams Forum to keep the team informed of best practices.
  • Identify and report hazardous conditions by being vigilant for potential dangers to customers and utilizing established reporting procedures to alert station staff and ensure passenger safety.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Understanding of safe handling procedures for cleaning agents in accordance with regulations.

Welsh Language Proficiency

Proficiency in speaking and writing Welsh would be advantageous but is not a requirement for this position.
