Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Anglican Chaplain to provide faith-based support and pastoral care to prisoners and staff within our correctional facilities.
Responsibilities
- Offer spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to individuals of various faiths and backgrounds.
- Facilitate worship services, meditation sessions, and group discussions that promote spiritual growth and well-being.
- Collaborate with prison staff to address the spiritual needs of inmates and create a supportive environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with local clergy and community organizations to provide comprehensive pastoral care.
- Conduct religious ceremonies and rituals as requested by individuals or groups.
Qualifications
- Ordained Anglican minister with a valid license from the Diocesan Bishop.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering pastoral care, leading worship services, and providing spiritual guidance.
- Deep understanding of Anglican theology and religious practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Commitment to serving the needs of incarcerated individuals and promoting their spiritual well-being.
