Job Summary:

The Associate HR Business Partner will support the Lead HR Business Partner in delivering HR services and solutions to Escode, a leading Software Escrow business.

This role involves working closely with the wider people team and key business stakeholders to understand business needs, contribute to strategic HR initiatives, and ensure effective HR operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build relationships and collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Manage diverse personalities and viewpoints, requiring high emotional intelligence.
  • Commercial Acumen:
    • Make recommendations and decisions based on business requirements, demonstrating commercial awareness.
    • Advise business leaders on HR-related matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management processes.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Support the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring a positive integration into the company.
  • Data Insight:
    • Analyze data to inform HR-related decisions, driving business outcomes.
    • Prepare HR reports and metrics, tracking key HR metrics.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Coordinate training sessions and development programs, partnering with the Talent Development Partner.
    • Support managers to empower employees in identifying development needs and career aspirations.
  • HR Projects:
    • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure HR practices comply with relevant country employment law and company policies.
    • Stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices in HR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor/Junior HR Business Partner role, preferably within a global matrix business.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems is an advantage (Workday and Salesforce is a strong plus).
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of the Netherlands and USA employment law is strongly desirable.
  • Ideal experience of working across international locations and time zones.
