About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling classified advertising to clients across the UK, with a focus on new business development and managing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sell classified advertising to clients across the UK
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  3. Manage high volumes of transactional business and provide clear revenue figures and sales forecasts to management on a weekly basis
  4. Develop complete market awareness and understand competitor strengths, weaknesses, and sales methods
  5. Attend relevant trade shows and conferences to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to cope under pressure
  • Good knowledge of general office computer software (including MS Office)
  • Client-oriented, pro-active, and consultative sales approach
