Companion Care Worker

About the Role
As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, person-focused care to our clients in their own homes. With a minimum of 1 hour care visits and client matching, you will have the time to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and social interaction to our clients, including engaging in activities and conversations that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming, to help our clients maintain their independence.
- Helping with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation, light housework, and accompanying clients to appointments or shopping.
- Supporting our clients with their medication and providing general care and companionship.
Requirements
- A driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name with Class A Business Insurance.
- GCSE level English or equivalent.
- Residency within Salford (non-Salford postcodes will fall into other Home Instead Office's territories).

Working Hours
Our Care Assistants are required to work at least 2 evenings and alternative weekends. Core hours are between 8am-1pm and 4.45pm-9.30pm, although there is potential to increase hours beyond these times.
