Overview:
The Supplier Performance Manager role is responsible for driving strategic supplier development and performance improvement initiatives. This position focuses on enhancing supplier delivery, quality, and inventory performance, while building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and capacity
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to achieve process control, quality system improvement, delivery performance, and cost reduction goals
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain effectiveness and capacity
- Coach and develop team members to assess supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with business procedures
- Work with operations and business support teams to obtain resources and support for supplier performance initiatives
- Teach suppliers and team members on how to work with TE TEOA Tools and ensure monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews processes are sustained
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong project management skills, ability to learn quickly, and work in a self-directed environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading and developing a group of direct reports, taking ownership of actions, and leading to closure. Strong communication and technical skills are required to interface with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, materials, and supply/demand management teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations or related disciplines
- Proficient with MS-Office and SAP products
- Experience with procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain fields
- Practical problem-solving skills, 8D, 5 why, Fishbone experience
- Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language. French or Spanish are a plus
