About the Role

We are proud to be partnering with a healthcare clinic to recruit a Patient Support Coordinator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £23,400. Additional benefits include 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, pension contribution, and healthcare cash plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact with the clinic for patients, taking bookings, making initial consultation appointments, and sending out information packs.
  • Effectively use the patient portal to ensure timely communication with patients.
  • Data inputting, including patient demographic details and referral details.
  • Making patient appointments as appropriate.
  • Sharing responsibility for all general patient correspondence and orders within the database.
  • Preparing standard letters, emails, and enclosures ensuring accuracy, appropriate inserts/attachments, and associated filing is complete.
  • Archiving and recall of patients' notes, keeping accurate records to ensure traceability.
  • Providing cover for Patient Services staff on an ad hoc basis.
  • Pro-actively managing your own caseload and ensuring that patient pathways are being adhered to.
  • Acting as a primary contact point for a patient caseload and supporting patients throughout their journey, including pro-active contact at identified touch points - Offering information, advice, and support as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Strong customer/communication skills.
  • Handling sensitive data with absolute discretion.
  • Ideally have a background in the healthcare sector or customer service/call centre experience.
  • Experience in the use of databases.
