Cardiac Surgical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Surgical Care Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our cardiac surgical services.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern that includes Monday to Sunday. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to the latest equipment and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our cardiac surgical services, including theatre preparation and patient transfer
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP) with a related honours degree
- Recent experience in theatre nursing, preferably in a cardiac surgical setting
- 18 months working within a similar autonomous role is desirable
