TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Mixed Tax Manager to join an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This reputable firm has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for growing businesses in the entrepreneurial and technology sectors.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all areas of corporate tax, including specialist areas such as EIS, EMI, and R&D, as well as restructuring and corporate finance tax work.
The role offers a high degree of flexibility, with the opportunity to mould the position around the candidate's experience and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
- Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence
- Prepare R&D tax relief claims
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Oversee and review the corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervise junior members of staff
- Opportunity to oversee a personal tax portfolio, encompassing compliance and IHT planning
- ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or mixed tax
- Advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm
- Background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm
- Competitive salary, £55,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
