Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Supported Living Team in Mansfield. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, including those with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Attachment Issues.
Key Responsibilities- Support Planning: Develop and implement individualised support plans to promote positive outcomes and independence for our service users.
- Personal Care: Assist with daily living tasks, including medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and supporting varied activities.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional and practical support to our service users, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Community Inclusion: Support our service users to access community facilities and participate in community groups, promoting social inclusion and integration.
- Relationship Building: Build robust relationships with our service users, promoting independence and improving quality of life.
- Skill Development: Empower our service users to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests, promoting personal growth and development.
- Experience: Must have exceptional knowledge or experience working with individuals with Personality Disorders.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is ideal for this role, but not essential.
- Care Experience: Experience within the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Skills: Ability to multi-task, good time management, organisation, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Attitude: Positive 'can do' attitude, good communication skills, and a compassionate, caring, positive personality.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals at risk of self-harming.
