Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products. Your primary focus will be on performing systematic reviews of functional design to identify potential sources of harm, in compliance with UK Standard DCB0129.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hazard assessments as part of our clinical safety management process to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to drive safety considerations into design and development.
- Develop and maintain a 'Safety Case' to demonstrate compliance with the ALARP principle.
- Manage Magentus Hazard Registers for all products.
- Perform clinical risk assessments of incidents raised via our customer service desk.
- Review and improve our clinical safety management process to ensure compliance with DCB0129.
- Previous clinical experience and expertise in clinical risk assessment, preferably in a healthcare software industry setting.
- Familiarity with NHS environment, regulations, and expectations is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in maternity or radiology is preferred but not essential.
