Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Hunter Healthcare. As a key member of our informatics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Developer in the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse and BI systems.
  • Undertake complex technical work, liaising with system owners and specialists to ensure the data warehouse meets the needs of all users.
  • Proactively manage the integrity and quality of data within the Trust data warehouse, investigating and resolving issues as necessary.
  • Work with informatics colleagues to develop and implement new information reports, flows, and systems that meet the operational and strategic needs of the Trust and its stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training for informaticians, including technical training on BI software and languages.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working with Microsoft BI solutions, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
  • Experience of developing ETL routines, working with dimensional database design and management, and reporting solutions.
  • Sound understanding of data quality management principles and best practices.
  • Experience of PowerBI, R, Python, and/or VBA.
