Job Title: FPGA Verification Engineer

Arm is seeking a skilled FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our FPGA team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality verification solutions for our FPGA platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test plans and testbenches for FPGA prototyping purposes.
  • Collaborate with design teams and FPGA users to debug test failures and issues.
  • Automate flows and methodologies to improve efficiency and deploy to the user community.
  • Provide support for the FPGA service to users.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of hardware verification languages (System Verilog/Verilog) and scripting languages (Python/TCL/Shell).
  • Experience with C/C++ programming language for writing test cases.
  • Exposure to all stages of verification, including requirement gathering, verification methodology creation, test plan development, and documentation.
  • Experience with validation for sophisticated SoC products containing multicore and high-speed interfaces.
  • Understanding of Arm-based systems, including SoC system architecture and AMBA protocols.
Nice to Have:
  • Low-level programming experience, including C and Assembler.
  • Knowledge of advanced verification techniques, such as assertions and property checking.
  • Experience with debugging System and IP-level projects using Verdi or Visualizer.
  • Exposure to FPGA flows with AMD Xilinx, including compilation, debug, performance, and implementation of basic features.
  • Basic understanding of Linux OS and kernels.
