Essential Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify performance gaps and learning requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and staff to gather insights on business challenges and performance obstacles.
- Utilize data analytics to diagnose root causes of performance issues and design tailored capability solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering strategic insights on learning and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise and work collaboratively to define the requirements for capability solutions that improve performance, develop skills, support organizational change, and enhance the employee experience.
- Deliver expert guidance on best practices for performance management and employee development.
- Oversee the design and implementation of broader Performance Consultancy initiatives, delivering learning solutions that address performance gaps and enhance critical workforce competencies.
- Seek and apply external and internal insights to innovate how HMRC utilizes learning to enhance capabilities and performance, while fostering communities of practice to share knowledge and build competence across Learning functions.
Qualifications
Applicants should demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Experience as a Learning and Development Consultant, identifying improvement opportunities within the organization and employing learning pathway strategies to overcome operational challenges.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills to anticipate organization-wide learning needs.
- Proven consultancy skills with the ability to understand diverse customer requirements and develop collaborative learning solutions, along with experience delivering services through third parties in a matrix environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- CIPD qualification or other relevant credentials.
- Experience in delivering dynamic consultancy services.
- Background in continuous improvement initiatives.
